Statement of Purpose:

Mission_Statement


	Our goal is to be a purpose driven church. Our desire is that we all may experience God’s presence in joyful worship, and grow in our spiritual maturity by:

			- developing a personal relationship with Jesus Christ

			- discovering and using our spiritual gifts for ministry

			- carrying on our mission in God’s world

		The baseball diamond shows us that spiritual maturity and development is a lifelong process. We go around the bases over and over again, helping and being helped in our journeys of Christian faith.

	KELLOGGSVILLE -- Kelloggsville CRC has stood in its present location for more than 125 years. At one time it stood in the village of “Kelloggsville”. Although the village no longer exists, the school district remains and we have kept the name as part of our identity.


	CHRISTIAN -- We belong to Jesus Christ and want to be His followers. We recognize as fellow Christians all people who accept the teaching of the Bible as summarized in the Apostles’ Creed.


	REFORMED -- We’re part of that historic branch of the Christian church that arose from the Protestant Reformation. Our Reformed identity calls us to return to the Bible and apply our faith to all life.

	CHURCH -- God has called us to be a fellowship of His people in the world.
