College & Career

Meets the first Sunday of the month at 7pm

Singles from post-high school to early 30’s meet once a month, usually at 7:00 pm on the first Sunday. They enjoy fellowship and food at the home of Dick & Jacque Bolt. The primary purpose of this group is prayer support and encouragement through the adjustments of life for college and career singles.  Bringing friends is always encouraged! If you would like more information, email Jacque Bolt (jbolt@kcrc.org).

Calling Teams

Individuals and couples volunteer to visit the homebound members of our church family. They meet every 4-6 weeks as a group to report on those visits, and to share their prayer needs. This ministry exists to bring news and greetings from the congregation to those who cannot regularly worship with us.  To participate in this ministry, please contact Pastor Bob Tigchelaar (btigchelaar@kcrc.org).

Discover Kelloggsville

No class currently scheduled

A class that introduces new members and those interested in membership to our church.  We discuss our core values and beliefs, our various ministries and programs, and how to become a member of KCRC.  The class is scheduled periodically based on need for it.  If you are interested, please contact Jacque Bolt (jbolt@kcrc.org).

Prayer Ministry

Current Praise & Prayer List

As a church, we believe that all aspects of life and ministry should be covered with prayer. There are several ways to participate in our Prayer Ministry: 1. The Prayer Room downstairs is open whenever the church is open.  It offers a wonderful place to meditate and pray. 2. A "Prayer Mailbox" is available for prayer requests. It is located next to the church office, and Prayer Request cards are available in the Worship Center pews. 3. The Prayer Line can be reached 24 hours a day at 534-0868, and is updated frequently.  To submit a prayer request or an item of praise, email the church office (info@kcrc.org).

Small Groups

List of Groups

The lifestyle of a fully devoted follower of Christ is learned and practiced best where true community is experienced, and a vital part of true biblical community is the fellowship of a small group. Therefore we encourage all of our members to join a Kelloggsville Small Group.  Led by volunteers, these groups meet regularly, and are limited only by the creativity, passion, and interests of their leaders. If you would like to join or lead a Small Group, contact the church office (info@kcrc.org).

S.H.A.P.E Class

No class currently scheduled

(Spiritual Gifts, Heart, Abilities, Personality, Experience) Also known as "Discover Your Spiritual Gifts", this class is designed to help people understand their own unique personalities, given to them by God, and to inspire them to meaningful service in their local church.  Church should be a gift-based ministry, which operates as a unified community for active servants.  Classes are scheduled 2-3 times throughout the year - there are two classes per session, and each lasts for about 2 hours. If you would like more information, contact Jacque Bolt (jbolt@kcrc.org).

J.O.Y. Club

Schedule

(Just Older Youth) A fellowship and Bible study ministry open to all adults ages 50-90.  The group meets for Bible study, coffee, fellowship, and discussion, twice a month during the calendar year, and once a month in the summer. If you would like more information, contact Joan Bonnema (jbonnema@kcrc.org).

Sunday Evening IMPACT

Go to IMPACT web page

We have several sessions of IMPACT throughout the year, which is the teaching portion of church life at Kelloggsville. This occurs during evening worship time (5:00-6:15 pm), and takes the place of a typical “Bible Study/Sunday School” program. We come together for a communal worship time (usually 15 minutes), then split into small groups.  Adults have different seminar choices for each session. If you would like more information, please contact Pastor Dan Ackerman (dackerman@kcrc.org).
