M.O.P.S. and Moppets
(Mothers Of Pre-Schoolers) This group provides a place for moms of young children to come together for support and encouragement. Kelloggsville MOPS meets two Thursdays a month from September thru April from 9:30 - 11:15 am. While moms enjoy a much needed break from the day-to-day rigors of motherhood, their children participate in a special program called Moppets, designed especially for them. For infants, a safe and nurturing nursery is available. Children ages one and up have a structured classroom environment with stories, games, songs, and crafts. If you would like more information about the MOPS program at Kelloggsville, email Lisa Bosma (lbosma@kcrc.org).

Held one Tuesday a month at 6:30 pm, “Tuesdays” offers a place where people can come and bring their friends and family for a meal, country music, a short talk, and fun. The nursery is available for infants and young children during the short talk. The purpose of Tuesdays is to give people the opportunity to share food and fellowship with friends, and to meet Jesus in a very casual atmosphere. Nursery
The nursery is open during all Sunday church services. We have a wonderful nursery with age appropriate toys and games for both infants and toddlers, and our nursery coordinators are trained in CPR. When you drop off your child(ren), you will receive a bracelet with a number on it. There is a board in the sanctuary that lights up with that number in case the nursery needs you.

Children’s Worship
During Sunday morning worship services, children Pre-K thru 2nd grade go to their own “Worship Centers”. While there, they learn about God with Bible stories and songs, then do activities that reinforce the stories in a fun and stimulating way. Modeled after the Montessori teaching method, this program is a unique and valuable experience for children and their leaders. Bring your child(ren) with you for the start of the Sunday morning service, and they will be dismissed after the singing. If you would like more information, or to volunteer as a teacher or helper, email Marlys DeRuiter (mderuiter@kcrc.org).

Sunday Evening IMPACT
We have several sessions of IMPACT throughout the year, which is the teaching portion of church life at Kelloggsville. This occurs during evening worship time (5:00-6:15 pm), and takes the place of a typical “Sunday School” program. The first 15 minutes are spent together as a big group, and then we split into groups by age for activities, classes, and seminars. Click here to go to the IMPACT web page.
