Statement of Purpose:

During the Sunday morning worship services, children Pre-K thru 2nd grade go to their own “Worship Centers”.  While there, they learn about God with Bible stories and songs, then do activities that reinforce the stories in a fun and stimulating way.  Modeled after the Montessori teaching method, this program is a unique and valuable experience for children and their leaders.  Bring your child(ren) with you for the start of the Sunday morning service, and they will be dismissed after the singing. Held during morning “big church”, this program offers two and three year-olds their own place to praise God through Bible stories, crafts, and games.  Take your child downstairs before the service starts, and pick them up when the service ends.  If you would like to volunteer as a teacher or helper, email Donna Smit (dsmit@kcrc.org).
