Concluded for the season - restarts in fall

Held at various times throughout the year during our 5:00 pm service, IMPACT is a time to learn about God in a classroom, age-specific setting.  We believe that God has called all believers to grow in their faith and to be equipped and trained for service.  The evening begins with 15 minutes of combined worship in the Worship Center, then people are separated into various age groups:

  • Adults have one or more classes to attend on a particular topic (each session is different).
  • Youth 9th-12th Grade spend one Sunday a month doing big-group activities, and the remaining Sunday nights in Small Groups at “host homes” near the church. Email interim Youth Director Laurie Zuverink at lzuverink@kcrc.org for details or to get put into a Small Group!
  • Youth 6th-8th Grade split into boys and girls groups, do some group-building activities, then move into the night’s topic for deeper discussion.
  • Children 1st - 5th Grade learn basic Bible skills and how to listen to Bible stories with “new ears”. Children should bring an NIV version Bible with them to class, if they have one.
  • Children PreK/K use the Christian Reformed Church’s “Walk With Me” curriculum.  This curriculum has a different Bible story each night with activities, games, and crafts that reinforce the story. .
  • Children infant through 3 years have play time with age-appropriate games and toys in their own rooms (0-1 are in the nursery, 2-3 year olds have their own classroom filled with play and learn areas. Helpers and teachers ensure your child’s safety, and our nursery coordinators are CPR-trained.
